The models are converging on a significant spring storm for the Front Range this weekend. GFS showing 12-18 inches for Denver metro, NAM is a bit lower at 8-12. Either way, this is going to be a heavy wet snow — great for the drought but bad for tree limbs. Make sure to shake snow off your trees if it starts accumulating. Remember the 2003 storm that destroyed thousands of trees.
