Locksmith Returns Thousands to 90-Year-Old Denver Resident
A Denver locksmith has issued a full refund to a 90-year-old resident who was charged thousands of dollars for what should have been a routine lock replacement.
The incident came to light when neighbors noticed the elderly resident had been charged significantly more than the going rate. Community members rallied on social media, drawing attention to the situation.
Within days, the locksmith company issued a complete refund and apologized for the overcharge. The Colorado Attorney General's office has also taken note of the case.
